DadBods started the season off strong with a sweep of the Sensations. A late rally in Game 1 gave DB a W after trailing for most of the game. Anytime a defense gives extra outs to the DadBods, you know its going to be a big inning and an 11 spot in the 5th was the turning point of the day for both team. DB then cruised to a second win as the Sensations did not start the season sharp on defense.

Bats come out flat in their quest for a 3-peat as OnlyFam takes two with both teams struggling with attendance. For OnlyFam, these are two big Ws to start the year as there were questions with how competitive they will be in a division that has clearly leveled up. For the Bats, this seems to be how they get you, stumble through the season, and turn it on in the playoffs.

Heavy Hitterz, new to the division, were put right in the fire against Hit Squad opening week, holding their own in a well-deserved split. Familiar faces across the diamond as the two veteran teams slugged it out in G1 with Hit Squad playing the crisper defense and taking the W. G2 proved to be the same story but this time it was HH who made fewer mistakes en route to a mercy W. Sajid and co. should feel great coming off such a debut after beating the defending Fall champs in convincing fashion.

Assassins make their Spring debut with impressive wins over an always dangerous Mingles team. Back-to-back mercies against last year’s runners-up is no small feat as Rishi and Co. proved that the Fall Ball dominance was no fluke. With the addition of Ryan, this team expects to be mercying many teams this season. On the other end, Mingles are back to the drawing board. The team needs to stay afloat till reinforcements arrive but that might easier said than done in a much deeper division than last year.
